Studio practice
My work explores the spaces between landscape, body, and memory. Through layered painting, drawing, and printmaking, I create dreamlike images where observation and recollection converge. Rooted in my Guatemalan and Slovak heritage, my practice investigates belonging and transformation through materials that invite chance and collaboration.
Working with gouache, watercolor, oil, and monotype on paper and textile, I see each work as a meditation on how identity and cultural memory are translated and reimagined through time and space, through physicality and consciousness.
