Phillips Auction House: Community Pride Portraits
I teamed up with Phillips Auction House for their first ever Pride activation to make live-drawn community portraits at Hudson River Park in New York City.
Together with the Phillips team, led by Iznara Benoit Kornhauser, we executed an installation that was an interpretation of an analog photo booth on a pier on the Hudson river, where community members could drop in and get their portraits — except instead of instant photographs, they were 1-2 minute line drawing portraits.
It was a great day with good turnout and energy from New Yorkers during Pride week!
